A convicted steroids dealer was sentenced yesterday in federal court in Sherman, Texas, and told the judge the drugs he sold ended up in the hands of NFL players. David Jacobs , 35, was sentenced to three years of probation and fined $25,000. After the sentencing, he told reporters that he would not name the players he says used the steroids he sold.
Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler has Type 1 diabetes, the Denver Post reported. Cutler, who could not be reached for comment, has been taking insulin shots since the recent diagnosis and has been participating in the Broncos' off-season workout program.
