Brett Favre stuck to the script, declining to address his rift with the Green Bay Packers in an appearance yesterday at Lambeau Field. In town to present former teammate Frank Winters for induction into the Packers' Hall of Fame last night, Favre briefly spoke with reporters about his former center's career before abruptly stepping off the stage and ducking out a side door.
But the 38-year-old Favre, who starred for 16 years with the Packers and is trying to reverse his decision in March to retire, offered praise for his former team.
