Eagles Notes: Team expects Andrews back at practice

Eagles Notes The Eagles are expected to get a welcome sight today when they return to the practice field at the NovaCare Complex. Coach Andy Reid said after Thursday night's 24-13 preseason win over Carolina that "there's a good chance" two-time Pro Bowl guard Shawn Andrews will be with the team today for the first time since the start of training camp.
Andrews missed the Lehigh University portion of training camp while battling depression. He reported to camp when the team returned to Lehigh after the preseason opener against Pittsburgh, but Reid held Andrews out of the final four practices there. The timing for Andrews' return is good because the Eagles had a patchwork offensive line against the Panthers with left tackle Tra Thomas sidelined by back spasms....
