* HBO talks to children about diversity and self-esteem with the animated special Happy to be Nappy and Other Stories of Me (tonight, 7:30 ET/PT). Mikhail Baryshnikov, Harvey Fierstein, Isaac Mizrahi, Melanie Griffith and Vanessa Williams are among those who lend their voices.

* It's a spectral reunion as Ghost 's Patrick Swayze visits his Oscar-winning co-star on Whoopi (NBC, 8 p.m. ET/PT). He plays Mavis' former choreographer, a man who has found religion and lost his wild ways -- much to Mavis' annoyance.

* Eight more semifinalists compete for your favor on American Idol (Fox, 8 p.m. ET/PT). Let's hope they're better singers than last week's egregious eight -- but then, they'd almost have to be, wouldn't they? And to think those people made the cut and Scooter...
