As awards season culminates this Sunday with the Academy Awards, so does awards gift-bag season, that flurry of fancy freebies -- from Wyborowa's Frank Gehry-designed vodka bottle to Revlon's cosmetics-crammed crocodile case -- that lands in the hands of the very people who can actually afford the stuff. To get a celebrity perspective on this glut of graft, USA TODAY's Olivia Barker asked mother-daughter red-carpet critics Joan and Melissa Rivers to sift through the official swag that floats through the big three events -- the Golden Globes, Grammys and Oscars, plus the feisty newcomer of gift baskets, the Westminster dog show -- separating the gotta-have-it goodies from those deemed eminently re-giftable.
