Today in the NL . . .

* Pittsburgh Pirates at Chicago Cubs: Will the Cubs break out? Will Matt Clement make it into the fifth inning? Will somebody sit in Club Box 4, Row 9, Seat 116 . . . the Steve Bartman seat?

According to the Chicago Sun Times , the seat was vacant for the home opener Monday, aside from a few pathetic souls looking for a cheap laugh or a picture.

"Actually, one guy came by and did sit down for a little while," John Szeszol told the Sun Times from his seat a row behind the Bartman seat. "But his head started spinning, and he started regurgitating everywhere."

The watch continues.
