And then there were two. After hearing Donald Trump say "You're fired!" 14 times, the moment has arrived for the New York mogul to actually hire someone.
For all Trump's talk about the value of street smarts, feisty go-getter and one-time front-runner Troy McClain, who has no college education, was given the boot. Amy Henry, another front-runner, also is no longer a contender (though Trump has said he'd hire her even if she didn't win).
Gone are all of the contestants, except two: Bill Rancic and Kwame Jackson.
So which one will become Trump's apprentice, with a top job in his organization, an annual salary of $250,000 and a new Chrysler? USA TODAY's Ann Oldenburg looks at how the two finalists stack up:
