* Chicago White Sox at Florida Marlins: Josh Beckett is expected to make his return from the disabled list for the Marlins. Beckett has been out since May 31 because of a blister on the middle finger of his right hand.
Before the injury, Beckett had compiled a 4-4 record with a 4.06 ERA. Marlins manager Jack McKeon told the Chicago Sun Times he will be cautious in how he uses Beckett.
"We'll let him go four or five innings and check it out," McKeon said. "We don't want to tear it up. He may go an inning less than usual."
