Kerr's credibility as TNT analyst at risk if he maintains role with Suns

Three months ago, TNT NBA analyst Steve Kerr revised his plans for an active role in player personnel matters as a prospective part-owner of the Phoenix Suns, saying he would only be an "investor" and "adviser" to new owner Robert Sarver.
Kerr added that if his TNT "bosses" felt a conflict of interest arose, "I would back out of the deal."
The deal closed last week and Kerr is on the team's six-member management committee with Sarver and Suns chairman Jerry Colangelo. He also was part of a contingent that flew on a private plane last week from Phoenix to Dallas to convince Mavericks free-agent guard Steve Nash to sign a five-year, $65 million offer with the Suns.
While the $65 million figured to have more to do with twisting Nash's arm than Kerr's attractive...
