Less is much, much more when it comes to working on Hilary Swank's face, Christian Dior's Pati Dubroff says.
The celebrity makeup artist has done Swank's face for the Screen Actors Guild, Golden Globe, Critics Choice, Directors Guild of America and New York Film Critics Circle awards. The key to working on the knockout?
"A softer mouth and more attention paid to the eyes," Dubroff says. "When you're next to her, she's drop-dead beautiful. It's an easy beauty that is sensual and angular."
Dubroff swoons over Swank's "gorgeous, beautiful skin, so for me the most important thing is to let it glow through and not mask it with makeup. Then I decide whether or not to play up the eyes."
