Red Sox's Schilling, Cubs' Prior ready to fire away

The Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs are getting a boost to their pitching rotations today when aces Curt Schilling and Mark Prior make their season debuts.
Schilling, 38, who had offseason surgery on his right ankle, will pitch for the Red Sox in Fenway Park against the New York Yankees. Prior, 24, whose first start was rained out Tuesday, will start for the Cubs in the second game of a doubleheader against the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field.
Schilling can't wait. His ankle has no limitations, unlike October when his tendon was stabilized by suturing it to the bone in an experimental procedure. The ankle bled, but Schilling pitched well enough against the Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals to win the World Series.
