L.A. to Mexico City: On Oct. 30, Alaska Airlines begins daily, non-stop service between Los Angeles International Airport and Mexico City. The carrier will use 124-seat Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
Fare sale: Delta Air Lines is offering fares at $198 round trip for travel on Delta Shuttle flights between New York and Boston or between New York and Washington, D.C. Fares are valid Sept. 2 through Sept. 6.
New service: On Dec. 1, Delta's Delta Connection carrier, Atlantic Southeast, begins three daily, round-trip flights between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport and Central Illinois Regional Airport (Bloomington).
