Fox TV's latest reality show might fast be on thin ice.
Taking a page from ABC's surprise hit Dancing with the Stars, the network is pairing celebrities with ice skating pros on Skating with Celebrities. The seven-episode skate-off premieres tonight (9 ET/PT).
It's unclear how much of an appetite viewers will have for Skating's celebs: 1980s pop princess Deborah Gibson, Diff'rent Strokes star Todd Bridges, 1976 Olympic decathlon champ Bruce Jenner, Full House cutup Dave Coulier, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Kristy Swanson and Fox TV personality Jillian Barberie. They're paired with professionals who include Olympians Nancy Kerrigan, Tai Babilonia and Lloyd Eisler.
Fox hopes viewers will be curious enough to stay tuned following American Idol. Still, Skating...
