Button back in booth for Torino Games

TORINO -- Dick Button will be a star of Olympic Ice, which will take the idea of studio pregame shows to figure skating. The daily show, debuting tonight on NBC's USA Network, will include a segment called "Push Dick's Button."
Shouldn't be a problem. Button is in his first network TV Olympic assignment since ABC's 1988 Winter Games, when he set the record for best on-air Olympic TV skating line in a comment about a pair of ice dancers -- "that was an angry tango!"
But as Button, 76, debuts on NBC figure skating coverage with the pairs competition Saturday, he obviously still has the passion to set new on-air records: "I've always had a love affair with the sport -- love it when it's good and cry when it's lousy."
