LAS VEGAS -- Apple loyalists take heed: Hackers and cyberthieves have begun targeting your beloved software.
Hacking security holes in Apple programs is in an early phase. And Apple owners have yet to experience the full brunt of cyberintrusions all too familiar to Microsoft customers.
But it's coming.
As 3,000 hackers and security experts convene here for the Black Hat cybersecurity convention this week, computer users at home and at work have more reason than ever to worry about an intruder sneaking onto their hard drives.
Sure, there hasn't been a headline-grabbing computer infection since the Zotob worm last August, and Zotob was a mere shadow of the dozens of worms that preceded it, such as Sasser, Blaster and Code Red.
