If you're home for the holiday, chances are you're going to have the TV on, even if it's just for the ball-drop countdown. Which means TV owes it to you to throw a big party. *The biggest of all, of course, is ABC's Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve (Sunday, 10 ET/PT), which offers a prime-time preshow before taking a break for the local news.
Then it returns at 11:35 ET/PT for the main event in Times Square. Dick Clark returns, with Ryan Seacrest sharing the job as co-host.
