DENVER -- New Denver Nuggets teammates Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson had dinner together soon after Iverson arrived from Philadelphia in the Dec. 19 trade. They talked more about strategies for life than for basketball. "We've kind of been through the same things," Anthony says. "He's a guy who feels my pain more than anybody in the NBA." Anthony's early professional tenure was tainted by incidents ranging from a clash with coach Larry Brown at the 2004 Olympics to Anthony's appearance in a bootleg DVD in which alleged drug dealers celebrate informant intimidation.
