Usually competition between strong Division I teams is enough to attract a sizable audience, but Friday night the University of Missouri is offering something extra. The No.2 Mizzou wrestling Tigers will be sharing the mat with Northern Iowa and the arena with the No. 20 Missouri women's gymnastics Tigers as they host Southeast Missouri State at the same time.
"Beauty and the Beast," as it is being promoted, won't be unique, gymnastics coach Rob Drass said. The idea is already done at places such as Boise State and Iowa State, and Drass wanted to bring the idea to Missouri. "We're really excited," Drass said. "I think it's something for the whole family."
