No. 1 seed Ohio State trailed by 20 but roared back to beat Tennessee 85-84 Thursday as high seeds continued to roll in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.
No. 1 seed Kansas also had a close call, edging Southern Illinois 61-58. That keeps open the possibility that four top seeds will go to the Final Four for the first time.
Ohio State's Mike Conley Jr. hit one free throw with 6.5 seconds to play to break a tie at 84. Greg Oden swatted away Ramar Smith's potential game-winning shot on a coast-to-coast drive at the buzzer.
