Warriors upend Mavs 103-99

OAKLAND -- The Dallas Mavericks are one step from playoff oblivion. Unless they figure out a way to contain Baron Davis, they're going to join some dubious company.

Davis again provided the leadership and inspiration for the upstart Warriors, scoring a game-high 33 points as eighth-seeded Golden State knocked off top-seeded Dallas 103-99 Sunday to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference playoffs.

The series returns to Texas on Tuesday, giving the Mavericks just two days to come up with an antidote for a Warriors team that has beaten them in nine of their last 11 meetings and six of seven this season, including the playoffs.
