*Babelgum. This free, on-demand beta video service (www.babelgum.com) shares traits with Joost. It, too, uses peer-to-peer technology and is generally thin on content, notwithstanding the moving Spike Lee short film Jesus Children of America.
*Short-form videos abound on the Net, with YouTube practically defining the category. Now, Apple is trying to make YouTube more accessible in the living room. Folks with AppleTV boxes will be able to wirelessly stream videos from YouTube onto large-screen televisions.
