LaDainian Tomlinson led the NFL with 1,815 yards last season, set a league record with 31 touchdowns, and might be just hitting the prime of his career.

Best tight end? Maybe. Antonio Gates was first-team all-pro last year ... again.

Best nose tackle? You tell 350-pound Jamal Williams, a three-time all-pro, he's not.

Best pass-rusher? Shawne Merriman was suspended four games last season for violating the NFL's steroids policy and still led the league with 17 sacks.

Best young quarterback? Philip Rivers, the reason Drew Brees became expendable, is definitely in the conversation. He went to the Pro Bowl after his first year...
