Ring-card girl: De La Hoya or Leonard

A fan-friendly wager between two of boxing's most magnetic figures is attracting interest in the undercard of the WBC super featherweight bout Sept.15 between Juan Manuel Marquez (47-3, 35 KOs) and challenger Rocky Juarez (27-3, 19 KOs).

Oscar De La Hoya, head of Golden Boy Promotions, and Sugar Ray Leonard, host of TV reality series The Contender, have a "friendly" bet on two bouts featuring fighters from their respective camps. The payoff requires the bet's loser to perform ring-card girl duties between the first and second rounds of the Marquez-Juarez 12-round main event, billed "Fireworks!"
