*There's a mini-Magnum P.I. reunion tonight on Las Vegas (NBC, 10 ET/PT). Larry Manetti and Roger Mosely guest as friends of Tom Selleck's Cooper.

*Sunday, CBS repeats the Roger Daltrey episode of CSI (8 ET/PT) in place of the quickly canceled Viva Laughlin, which is sure to disappoint those who were planning to tune in out of car-crash curiosity. While it may seem unfair to kick the justifiably dead, network executives have a habit of learning the wrong lessons from failure, and one would hate to see that happen here. To be clear: Viva didn't flop because it was a musical. It flopped because it reeked of a toxic mixture of incompetence and cowardice. Next time you want to do a musical, hire people who know how to do it and have the courage to go full-out.
