Many happy returns

Several NFL teams found alternative ways to score touchdowns Sunday besides the traditional pass or run. There were five following a player kicking the ball -- via a kickoff, punt or field goal attempt.

The scenarios:

*Leon Washington of the New York Jets returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown to give his team an early lead against Washington. The return made him the 11th player in NFL history to return at least three kickoffs for touchdowns in a season.

Two others returned kickoffs for TDs: Cincinnati's Glenn Holt and Jacksonville's Maurice Jones-Drew each returned one for 100 yards.

*98 yards vs. N.Y. Giants, Week...
