Coming soon to an NFL stadium near you: A kickoff return for a touchdown. Or so it seems, anyway.
Maybe it all started when Chicago Bears return man Devin Hester took back the opening kickoff of Super Bowl XLI 92 yards for a touchdown and an embrace of the "wow" factor.
Well, how's this for wow?
No fewer than 14 kickoffs have been returned for touchdowns this half-completed season. That's compared with a full-slate nine from a year ago and the record 18 of 1998.
So what's the deal?
