Measure Elvis Dumervil against Mario Williams and he doesn't come up short.
Not that he could look Williams in the eye and stare him down.
These two rank among the best in the AFC in sacks, and they will share the field tonight when the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans, both 6-7 and chasing wild-card dreams, meet at Reliant Stadium (8 p.m., NFL Network).
Williams, who leads the Texans with 91/2 sacks, was the first overall pick in the 2006 draft. Dumervil has 11 to pace the Broncos . He, however, was Denver's second pick ... of the fourth round. At 5-11 and 250 pounds, he did not fit the prototype (or the pants) of an NFL defensive end.
