*Boy, someone at TCM is in a downer mood for Christmas. Tonight, the movie channel teams Dark Victory (8 ET/5 PT) -- Bette Davis dies of a brain tumor -- with Love Story (10:15 ET/7:15 PT), in which Ali MacGraw dies of a bad cough. On TCM, apparently, love means never having to say, "What are your retirement plans?"
*Things are a bit more cheerful over at CBS, which offers A Home For the Holidays (tonight, 8 ET/PT). This TV salute to adoption includes musical performances by Reba McEntire, Sheryl Crow, Carole King, James Blunt, Fergie, Karmina and John Legend.
