All season long, the New England Patriots had the NFL's most productive passer-receiver combination. But the New York Giants can lay claim to having the hottest aerial connection going into the Super Bowl.
Plaxico Burress caught a career-high 11 passes from Eli Manning in Sunday's NFC Championship Game, while Randy Moss has been good for one reception from Tom Brady in each of New England's playoff victories.
What was most impressive about Burress' game was that 10 of the catches came when he was matched against Al Harris. The Green Bay Packers' Pro Bowl cornerback has a reputation as one of the league's most physical defensive backs.
