Green points the way for Butler

INDIANAPOLIS -- For years Mike Green kept a low profile in college basketball.
Butler's 6-1 senior point guard spent his first two years of college at Towson University near Baltimore, where his promising play was buried by the team's 45 losses. After transferring to Butler in 2005, he sat out an obligatory redshirt season while the Bulldogs advanced to the NIT.
"As selfish as it may sound, I couldn't wait until the NIT was over with so I could lead this team," the Philadelphia native says.
