This year's spring fashion show of signature shoes during All-Star Weekend coincides with a couple of industry milestones: Converse's 100th anniversary and the release of the 23rd rendition of the Air Jordans that were made popular by No. 23 himself.
In a craze that can be traced back to Michael Jordan, the 24 NBA All-Stars will don special basketball shoes designed by Adidas, Air Jordan, Converse, Nike and Reebok.
Each year the league lifts the color restrictions on footwear for its midseason showcase.
Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony, making his first All-Star Game start, is a Team Jordan athlete and will wear an exclusive pair of Air Jordans.
