'Excited, charged' for the TV Heroes

Writer Jeph Loeb has more than a red Hulk on his mind. As co-executive producer of Heroes, Loeb must help jump-start the NBC hit now that the three-month writers' strike has ended.
"Everyone on the Heroes set is excited and charged to be back," Loeb said in an interview from the set the day after the writers returned last week. The strike "was an unusual hardship, but in some ways it was a gift. For us as writers, everyone's creative juices are rekindled."
Loeb, 50, has been Hollywood's go-to guy when it comes to bringing heroic fantasy to TV. In addition to Heroes, the comic-book veteran has been supervising producer on Lost and a consulting producer on Smallville. He has written for all three shows, as well.
