*Aging queens unite as Barbara Walters goes behind the scenes with The Royal Family (ABC, tonight, 8 ET/PT). Filmed over the course of a year, the documentary promises an intimate look at Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and her closest kin, for those who find that prospect appealing. Anything that increases our knowledge of foreign affairs is welcome these days, and there's no denying the royals maintain a strong hold on the public imagination. Still, I must admit I've never quite understood some of my fellow Americans' fascination with the family our founding fathers so wisely booted from our shores. But hey, to each his own.
