*Tonight's big TV event is likely to be big indeed: Fox's 2 1/2-hour special Idol Gives Back (7:30 ET/PT), and those who want to set their recorders will want to note the early start time. Among those expected to appear on the charity fundraiser are Forest Whitaker, Bono, Brad Pitt, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Reese Witherspoon, Celine Dion, Annie Lennox, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Billy Crystal, Kiefer Sutherland, Amy Adams, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and such returning Idols as Fantasia, Chris Daughtry and Carrie Underwood. Which means, by the way, that the regular Idol eliminations have been pushed to Thursday.
