Celebrities are often the first to discover the latest dining hot spots. Victoria Namkung checks out for USA TODAY the new Los Angeles restaurants where members of the A-list are wining and dining.
Beso
Sizzle factor: Sheryl Crow, Felicity Huffman, James Denton, Courteney Cox, Jessica Simpson, Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul are fans. "I'm not simply attaching my name to Beso," says co-owner and Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria Parker, who partnered with star chef Todd English. "I have a genuine love for the art of cooking."
Vibe: A dramatic open kitchen anchors the 150-seat restaurant that features beige crocodile booths, crystal chandeliers, hand-painted walls and an outdoor patio. The eclectic menu features colorful dishes from around the globe.
