Come 'Hell,' high ratings

*Life in Hell. Fox's Hell's Kitchen returned for its first non-summer run, and a cushy perch after Tuesday's American Idol (26.1 million, up from last week) delivered a series-high 11.8 million viewers.
*Season finales. CBS' The New Adventures of Old Christine bowed out with 12.6 million viewers, its biggest total since January 2007. ABC's Miss Guided whimpered out with an average 4.5 million for two Thursday episodes. Fox's The Moment of Truth told its last lie with a typical 10.2 million but will return in May. And ABC's Here Come the Newlyweds ended its run Sunday with 7.7 million viewers, winning its time slot.
