'Green' doesn't mean style-less

Quite a few lines -- from C&C California to Joe's Jeans -- are launching capsule collections that include clothes made of organic cottons or other eco-friendly fabrics.
One of the forerunners in the eco-fashion movement was Loomstate, which prides itself on sustainable, responsible and chic fashion. The collection, launched in 2004 by Rogan Gregory and his partner, Scott Hahn, features clothing that is made from 100% certified organic materials and that the company says is manufactured using fair labor practices.
"This isn't some hippie who's got hemp pants he's trying to peddle. I'm a designer, first and foremost," says Gregory, who just won the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America/Vogue Fashion Fund award. "I don't want people wearing stuff because it's a favor to me or because it's organic. I'm into making people look good." ...
