Chris Long moves on as Rams rookie

NEW YORK -- Virginia defensive end Chris Long made rookie mistakes, and he hadn't yet been drafted.
He awoke Saturday morning and couldn't find his toothbrush. Then, while getting ready for the NFL draft, he noticed he didn't have a clean white T-shirt.
With Diane Long, Chris' mom, around for the weekend, there wasn't a problem. She had a new toothbrush sent up to the room and she raided father Howie's suitcase for a white T-shirt. "When your husband wears the same size, it makes it easy," she said.
