Chiefs add big blocks on both lines

NEW YORK -- When defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey slipped to the Kansas City Chiefs fifth overall, they rejected trade offers from several teams including the New Orleans Saints and grabbed him, according to team general manager Carl Peterson. When highly rated offensive lineman Branden Albert came into their sights, they traded up two places to snag him.
"I never thought in my wildest dreams that we would have the opportunity to get both those guys," said Bill Kuharich, vice president of player personnel for the Chiefs, who were using this weekend's NFL draft in part to help them recover from last year's 4-12 campaign.
