As of Friday morning, 4,063 U.S. servicemembers and 11 Defense Department civilians had been identified as having died in the Iraq war: 3,322 from hostile action and 752 from non-combat-related incidents.
Latest deaths identified:
*Army Spc. Alex D. Gonzalez, 21, Mission, Texas; died Tuesday in Mosul of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered small-arms fire and a rocket-propelled grenade attack; 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment.
*Army Spc. Mary J. Jaenichen, 20, Temecula, Calif.; died Friday in Iskandariyah of a non-combat-related injury; 3rd Infantry Division.
*Army Pfc. Aaron J. Ward, 19, San Jacinto, Calif.; died Tuesday in Anbar province of wounds suffered when his unit came under small-arms fire during cordon and search operations;...
