Stevens bullish on Big Brown

As Big Brown takes his next step toward a possible Triple Crown, which would be Thoroughbred racing's first since Affirmed in 1978, the race is his to lose, Gary Stevens says.

"It's been 30 years since we had our last Triple Crown winner -- it's time for another," he says.

Stevens, a Hall of Fame jockey who won the Preakness aboard Silver Charm in 1997 and Point Given in 2001, joins NBC's Preakness broadcast as a race analyst. He will also join Bob Costas and others at 4:30p.m. ET Saturday before the race in a roundtable discussion examining the tragic death of filly Eight Belles at the Kentucky Derby.
