Celebrities jump through hoops to star on 'Circus'

Viewers may have a sense of deja vu watching NBC's Celebrity Circus (premiering Wednesday, 9:30 ET/PT) and some of its stars.
The format is reminiscent of Circus of the Stars, the annual TV big-top staple that ran from 1977 to 1994. And Celebrity Circus -- based on hit versions in Portugal and Argentina that blended the styles of Cirque du Soleil and Barnum & Bailey -- features celebreality veterans Rachel Hunter, Christopher Knight and Jason "Wee Man" Acuna.
Soap star Antonio Sabato Jr., actress Stacey Dash, R&B singer Blu Cantrell and Olympic gold-medal swimmer Janet Evans round out the six-week competition's cast.
