As of Friday morning, 4,086 U.S. servicemembers and 11 Defense Department civilians had been identified as having died in the Iraq war: 3,338 from hostile action and 759 from non-combat-related incidents.
Latest deaths identified:
*Army Sgt. John D. Aragon, 22, Antioch, Calif.; died Thursday in Kadamiyah of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device; 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
*Army Sgt. Steve A. McCoy, 23, Moultrie, Ga.; died Tuesday at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio of wounds suffered March 23 in Baghdad when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device; 3rd Infantry Division.
