BOSTON -- During a career that began right out of high school in 1995, Kevin Garnett established a reputation as one of the most passionate, talented and charismatic big men in the NBA.

He also established a much less-coveted reputation for coming up short in the postseason with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Garnett failed to advance past the first round for six consecutive years and had never played in an NBA Finals. So when his Boston Celtics sealed the franchise's 17th NBA championship with a 131-92 win against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game6 Tuesday night, the man known as K.G. could not contain his joy.
