Fresno State doesn't let up in 19-10 win

OMAHA -- Fresno State pushed the battle for this year's baseball national championship to the final day by outslugging Georgia 19-10 on Tuesday to even their best-of-three College World Series at 1-1.

Fresno State (46-31) shrugged off an early five-run deficit to force tonight's deciding game (7 ET, ESPN). It was the second time the Bulldogs dodged elimination at the CWS and the fifth time in this postseason.

"That's not the first time this team has answered the bell when it had to," Fresno State coach Mike Batesole said. "But I wouldn't put too much stock in the 19 runs. Those (Georgia) guys have been on the mat before. They understand where they are."
