USA looks to adjust against Greece

BEIJING -- When Greece knocked off the U.S. men's basketball team in the 2006 world championship semifinals, they ran the pick and roll 42 times. When the two teams meet today, expect more of the same. The challenge for the USA, however, is doing a better job defending it.
"We have to communicate, make guys aware of where the pick is coming from," guard Jason Kidd says. "If our game plan is not working, we need to make adjustments on the fly."
Two years ago, the USA ran out of time before they figured out how to stop Greece, a team without any current NBA players. The USA also lost to Greece in the 2004 Games. This week, Greece followed its opening-game loss to Spain with a 23-point win against Germany.
