As of Tuesday morning, 4,136 U.S. servicemembers and 11 Defense Department civilians had been identified as having died in the Iraq war: 3,370 from hostile action and 777 from non-combat-related incidents.
Latest death identified:
*Army Pvt. Janelle F. King, 23, Merced, Calif.; died Thursday in Baghdad from wounds suffered in a non-combat-related incident; 115th Combat Support Hospital.
