It was a day of song, jubilation, energy and of respectful remembrance
I was there.
That was the message on a popular button Thursday night at Invesco Field at Mile High, where more than 70,000 people braved sun and security lines for the chance to witness a landmark moment in American life and politics.
From nearby towns and faraway states, they converged at a football stadium prepared to see Barack Obama accept the Democratic presidential nomination on a day that could not be more fitting -- the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream speech.
