*CW launches its sequel/revival of 90210 (tonight, 8 ET/PT). Whether that's a good idea remains to be seen, because the network did not make the show available for preview, out of a desire, it says, to keep "riding the curiosity and anticipation." Hiding the show from critics doesn't necessarily mean it's awful, though that's usually where the smart money lands. Until now, there has never been a case in which a network has kept a show under wraps because it was afraid the reviews would be so good they'd spoil the surprise, but there's always a first time.
