NBA fans will find out at 6 p.m. ET today, when the league's new Oklahoma City franchise announces its nickname, logo and colors on the website nba.com/oklahomacity.
Clay Bennett's ownership group applied for six trademarked names: Thunder, Energy, Wind, Marshals, Barons and Bison. Oklahoma City television station KOCO reported that the choice will be Thunder, but Bennett has declined to comment.
